about
Sloe Paul’s new single L’Amour De L’Escargot is a shimmering ballad. Bubbling synthesizers mix with a slow groove, conjuring images of 80s French Pop with a kind of obscure eroticism. Sloe Paul establishes collages of intimate movements and moments, which are taken over by the naive and evocative French voice of Vitiko Schell (Fabian). The song morphs slowly but steadily into a pop gem that softly sparkles.
L’Amour De L’Escargot will be released on October 2 via Treibender Teppich Records and INTRNT EXPLRR. It’s the second single of Sloe Paul’s second full length album Remote which will follow in January.
